Some of the trees are destroyed, but still a great place.

Such beauty in the middle of the city. Not something you see everyday.

It was once awesome but hurricane Maria ravaged it. Most of the tall shady trees are gone. It is still beautiful. Some of the trees survived and others are growing the Bamboo house survived and that's something to see,a living house. The man-made structures are almost all done. The Botanical Gardens will again become a natural wonder.

Went for a walk, was a bit underwelming had the impression that the gardens are an unfinished project.

There were no staff around to give advice.

The gardens were nicely maintained in the areas that were finished. There was free WiFi. But there was no proper signs for the bathroom or cafe.

It was clean and tidy and this would be an ideal place for ti chi, yoga, power walking or meditation. Or maybe just walking alone and collecting your thoughts.

I did see the odd bike passing through but this is not really allowed.

I saw groups of school children playing cricket, and some kissing couples.

It is quite a large area and so you are unaffected by the cricket, but I enjoyed watching this very much.

This garden does have a romantic atmosphere for young couples as there are benches under trees and lovely places just to sit. I must say its a nice place to be alone with a loved one.

Excellent for picnics and family fun, with lots of space to run and play.

It up to you. Moan about the unfinished part's of the garden or bring your family, and friends and a picnic, relax and enjoy the parts that are finished.

It's a collection of the botanical variety there is on the island. Plenty of plant diversity. Grounds make lovely place for a photo shoot for weddings, modeling and overall armature photography. Great back grounds! There is free WiFi in the grounds, bathroom facilities, three entrances/exits, parade/sports training ground, gazebos, historical and informational stands all over the grounds.

Beautiful park, great for a scenic stroll and bird some bird watching. We saw a double rainbow in the sky after brief showers. Near downtown area and harbor. Lots of restaurants walk distance. Free wifi is available here in park. Only downside was public bathrooms locked up before 5pm but most local business will let you use washroom for small tip.

Good stroll. You can get a glimpse of the national bird, the Sisserou Parrot (Amazona Imperialis) “The Pride of Dominica”. Towards the back of the gardens there is a superb trail named Jack's Walk, it leads to a magnificent view of the capitol city, Roseau.
