Do you enjoy nature? Tall green mountains, 365 rivers (one of which is white as apposed to clear), black sand beaches, hiking trails, one of the world's two Boiling Lakes, rain forest - all in pristine condition - and the friendliest people you will ever meet. If that does not sound like something you will enjoy, stay away. Really, this place is paradise.

This is a really nice island with lots of hiking and outdoor activities. The island was badly hit in the 2017 hurricanes but was well on its way to recovery in February 2018.

This island should be renamed as "Paradise". While it is recovering from the aftermath of hurricane Maria, nature is coming back with leaves back on trees and island life inching back to normal. There are lots of hikes, dive and snorkeling sites and countless and stunning waterfalls and rivers that will take your breath away. It is an ultimate outdoors-person paradise. People are very nice and though food and accommodations are somewhat of a challenge after the hurricane, it is an ultimate jewel on this planet that every nature loving person should explore before things change.
