Historic, good atmosphere and cheap. A bit of a walk from the city.

We were sent here from the camping around the corner because there were no space for tents. In the hostel we stayed in the garden with our tent (there were other tents as well, so I guess it is a common practice).
The location is perfect, there is a beach right in front of the house and you can walk all the way down to Helsingor. The facilities are nice and clean (the shower wasn't in the best condition, but still fine).
There are tables to dine inside and outside, they let you to have free coffee and tea all the day long.response / report this review -

Beautifully situated by the coast, this must be one of Denmark's best hostels. Lovely old main building + friendly and welcoming staff!

Beautiful location. Wonderful beach. Lovely family chalets with ensuite. Great breakfast. No wifi at all outside of main buildings in the chalets. No ability to buy train tickets for local trains. Hence lower rating.

It's a nice place for the money but wifi is only available in the main building. The rooms are okay for 1-night-stays but staying there for more than 5 days is a little too much. Overall it's a great place with a beautiful view and a great price
