Tivoli is not just an amusement park, it's something else.
The park is in the centre of the city, completely embedded with multiple ways to enter and exit from it.The park evolves according to the different seasons and it has themes for Xmas, Halloween, summer That are not just a light make up but really noticeable changes.
The park is just beautiful. It's so beautiful that it's common just to go there for the views or to go to one of the cool restaurants inside.
On the downside, it's expensive. The entrance ticket does not include any rides, and the rides cost is not bargain. To spend one day can be more expensive than one day in bigger and better theme parks that are famous all around the world.response / report this review -

Had a really great time in Tivoli during the Halloween Celebrations. The rides are very creative and a lot of fun. It took us a while to find them all even with the map though but then we had a blast on each one we went. Even rides that look more aimed towards kids are fun for adults too. Wonderful concept to have something like this in the middle of a city

Walt Disney's inspiration, Tivoli opened in 1843 and is fun place to spend the day and night. Lot's to do in a relatively small park located in the city of Copenhagen. They have Disney like rides such as the Hans Christen Anderson ride which is similar to It's a Small World and then they have more modern amusement park thrill rides. This park has a little bit of something for everyone.
It meticulously landscaped. Even if you don't go on rides it's enjoyable just walking around and viewing the gardens.
They have stages set up for all types of shows.
There is also a variety of restaurants to choose from. We went to a Coatian? buffet. Great deal and a good, hearty meal.response / report this review -

Super fun. If I could rate it 6 stars, I would. The rides are very cool (the Demon with Virtual Reality is awesome also quite short). It was during Halloween and the atmosphere was very well transcribed, especially during the monster night out!
And it's right in the middle of the city center!! Some rides give you an awesome view of the city.
I was there at 11h and left at 23h.

Most amazing place - especially around Christmas time. Wonderfully decorated each time - beautiful to walk around a cold festive evening.
Some of the rides are crazy! Positively Adrenalin filled experiences that look someone innocent as Tivoli lulls you into a false sense of security because everything is hugely friendly. Then you get on one of the large rides and immediately realize just before it sets off why it was a bad idea.response / report this review -

It's a nice little amusement Park but you have to pay for entry and then pay for any rides in addition. A real tourist trap but some good restaurants. Prices are very reasonable for the rest of Copenhagen. Good selection of lives shows and activities.

Magical place, for children and adults. Is not too big, but enough to spend a morning or afternoon.
Plenty of cafes and kiosks to eat. You can enjoy a sunny afternoon relaxing in one of the gardens.
There are shows at a certain time.
I think it will look even more beautiful at the end of the day or early evening, because it has colorful lights and lanterns all over the place.response / report this review -

Very beautiful place right in the heart of the city. We went at night because we saw the photos of it and it looked gorgeous with the lights.
Beware: after the entrance you must pay for rides. There is an unlimited rides options that seems to be pretty fair. So include that in your planning entrance fee + rides fee. Would definitely recommend going though at night even if you don't like rides. They have concerts there or shows. and restaurants and arcade games.response / report this review -

Nice amusement park in the middle of Copenhagen. You can walk out of the central station directly in the park. If you be sure to go through the main entrance, a bit of a walk but a nicer entrance to the park. General admission is not very expensive for Copenhagen standards. Keep in mind if you want to ride the rides you will have to pay extra for an unlimited ride pass. Otherwise you can by separate tickets in the park for rides, but this method will be more expensive if you plan on going on all the rides. Food and drinks in the park are pricey though Overall we enjoyed our visit here.

Great place to see at night, but we went to watch the light and laser show but it was cancelled due to technical reasons and we didn't receive any refund. Food was expensive and not great. Good place to take children and very safe. Went on the wooden roller-coaster which was fun. There are fireworks at the weekends, but sadly it rained and they weren't on one day we went. Probably got a bit unlucky with the weather and technical issues. Go in the summer, when the light show is working, and take in your own food and drinks. Some great picture opportunities.

An excellent place to visit. Enjoyed every moment at the park. I was in dual mind if to visit the park or not as from outside it looks like a junkyard. However I was mistaken, the inside of the park is extremely beautiful. Toy trains, lots of rides, lots of restaurants and food joints, parks, concerts and events kept my day engaging.. A must visit place

So much more than I expected! Very clean, well maintained and most importantly, great design. The rides are much better than typical amusement parks with very creative use of colors and lights.
Restaurants are expensive but exceptional in food quality, service and comfort.
The best time to visit is later in the afternoon through evening so you can see how the gardens transform from daylight to night with lighting.

Tivoli is rightly placed the number one attraction in Copenhagen. It's fun and magical and while expensive, worth every penny. Don't scrimp. Get an all access pass and do your favourite rides over and over again. And make sure you stay for the evening lights. The place becomes dreamlike after dark.

Such a great atmosphere for young and old. Not cheap but it's definitely quality, flexible pricing allowed us to purchase unlimited rides with either adult for our daughter. A huge amount on offer, even though it was busy there was plenty of space to walk about without being pushed around. Loved the refill slushy station and the range of places to eat. We tried out Prices Diner and the fried chicken was amazing!

I would give five stars, if Tivoli wasn't so god d expensive. But if you're a tourist in Copenhagen though, you cannot miss this one. The gardens (which inspired W. Disney to build Disneyland) are so beautiful, on a summer evening with a million lights illuminating, it is like a fairytale. Once heard Tony Bennett sing there, and he said: "I cannot think of a better place to sing, than in this beautiful garden in this wonderful city". I guess he is right. The drives are alright, but seen better many other places. The food is everything from fast food to 1.st class gourmet restaurants. Go there because Tivoli is The Real Deal that all other amusement parks are made after and because it is super good, clean family entertainment, you can trust. Expect to spend a million Dollars.
