Nice architecture - I love the round slope when climbing up to the tower. Definitely easier than climbing up on staircase. New view from above. Entrance fee is 25 DKK for adult

Amazing architecture and is having an ancient history attached with Copenhagen high rise. A beautiful cityscape can be seen in a clear day. Not suggested for cloudy and rainy days. In short I love it and would suggest to visit it on a sunny or clear day if you are planning to go to the top

This is one of the few great places to stop by, to get a view of the Copenhagen 'from above'. Copenhagen is known for its many towers, so this is an easy way to see them. It's also considered as a very important part of Danish history. I would only go here for the view though, the museum is not that interesting.

I love to go to somewhere high up in a city around the world and this is that "somewhere high up" in Copenhagen! Definitely worth it to soak in the view of Copenhagen. Also, there's some short history about the tower while walking up, my favourite is the hollow tower, go dare yourself to stand on the glass floor while looking up or down.

What great views from the top! The climb is actually relatively easy - the slope isn't too steep. There was also a neat art exhibit on the way up as well as being able to see the church and bell loft. It's definitely worth a quick stop at.

Really interesting building and the ramp rather than steps makes it an easier walk up. Nice view from the top. At DKK 25 entry price it's worth a visit

Great 360° views of Copenhagen from the roof. Fair entry price. Most of the climb is a somewhat steep brick ramp, the last part is a narrow staircase. On the way up: (1) nice view inside the church, (2) toilets about halfway up, (3) exhibition, (4) take a look down the central shaft by means of a small doorway in the central wall near the top of the ramp.

The round tower was interesting, a long walk up made easy by the fact it is a slope and not stairs. Beautiful views from all of the windows and of course from the top. You can see far from the top but for me it wasn't the most interestingly diverse view, but it is definitely worth the trip. There was also a small exhibition in the old library.

Interesting to walk up to the tower and a nice view of the city. You walk up this ramp until you get near the top and then go up narrow stairs. There is enough room to walk around a bit after you get to the top. It's not especially tall but does give you a decent view of the city.

It was a very happening place with observatory, library and a church included in its premises. It is well maintained. People with bad knees also can walk up to the terrace and see the panoramic view. There is now an exhibition area with a small cafe instead of the library. The church is also a very beautiful one. There are toilets on both floors above.

Definitely worth a visit! Great views of the city - and beyond! On a clear day you can easily see the Oresund bridge stretching towards Sweden.
The tower itself is fascinating with a wonderful spiral slope up to the top which would be worth a visit in itself. There are also a couple of exhibits, but not really much to look at. There is a small shop part way up which also sells drinks.response / report this review -

The Round Tower located in the center of Copenhagen is an interesting building from 17th-century built to serve as an astronomical observatory. Inside it there is no staircase but a spiral ramp all the way to the top. The view of the city from the top is really amazing.

Really unique building which goes round and round (meant for horses in the past), there is a little chapel on the way up, and some exhibition space. We were there during Cultural Night and enjoyed the live performance. Lots of people queued up to the observatory at the top, but was too packed and cold. Nevertheless, something different from typical historical buildings.

Really neat exhibit in the museum worth going to. The top of the round tower certainly gives a nice panoramic of the city. You don't need to pay to go to the top. Heck, you didn't really need to pay to go into the museum no one checks 😳. Definitely worth the 45 minutes we spent going through the entire museum and looking out over the city.

Very good views of the city once you get to the top. Walking up the spiral ramp all the way to the top is an experience in itself. It's amazingly easier than walking up stairs. The last few metres are ascended via a spiral staircase. I found some older folk were put off by that final bit. But one has to climb those few steps to get a 360 degree view of the city.
On a sunny day one could and also take some beautiful photos. Copenhagen is quite noticeably flat and there don't appear to be many tall buildings. Many church spires could be seen punctuating the skyline.
On the way up, a church, exhibition hall, bell loft and a chance to look down the hollow core are possible. They claim that the observatory at the top is Europe's oldest. There are also toilets along the way.
If you have come all the way to Copenhagen, don't miss this. This tower is almost 400 years old.
