'Sort Sol' is a natural phenomenon that occurs 2x a year near the Tønder Marshlands. Just after sunset, millions of migrating starings form huge formations in the sky looking for a location to roost. If a Predator attacks the flock, the formation moves quickly but fluidly creating a ballet-like scene. Also called murmurations, these formations can grow substantially and seem to obliterate the sun thus called Sort Sol by the Danes or Black Sun.
