This park was a big positive surprise for me. As a Dane I thought, how interesting can Scandinavian animals be I was wrong! In this park you get so close to the animals it's amazing. Even as an adult it was so funny to hand feed the deers and goats. The animals have plenty of space and can decide if they want to interact or not. I love how they have build each area after the needs of the animals and not the needs of the public. Don't miss the animal feeding schedules as the animal keepers tells a lot about the animals here besides feeding them. For smaller children there is a big playground and a goat area for interaction. This park is nothing than fantastic. Schedule around 6-7 hours for a visit.

Anderledes dyrepark. Oplev isbjørne, brune bjørne og ulve i store åbne arealer. Dyrene opleves fra hævede træbroer der slanger sig igennem dyrenes områder. En noget anderledes og meget bedre måde at opleve dyrene end i en traditionel zoo.

Price for a single entry is a bit steep, but get a season pass and you're up for a lot of good time. Self-paced viewing of animals - and the chance to feed some of them. And a great playground for kids 3yo and above. Bring your own food or buy from the outlet which serves food that clearly exceeded my expectations.

Great place. If you want to keep animals in captivity, this is how it should be done.
