Perfect hotel! Provides everything you could wish for. Worth the price!

Overall the stay was good.
+ Breakfast was nice and tasty, though some elements were not fresh.
+ Room was big and bed was comfortable, though cleaning was minimal.
+ Location is great - just a few minutes walk away from the central station and to other sights in the city.
+ Staff were very friendy and helpful.
+ Complimentary coffee machine was broken for the entire week I stayed there
+ I stayed with my wife and baby, so I got an extra bed for the baby for no extra charge and there was a baby chair in the dinning room. Using the childrens facilities in the neighboring Scandic family hotel is also possible for no extra charge.response / report this review -

Great room, it was a two person room but they fixed another bed inside the room for free so three people could stay in the room. Helpful staff members with a lot of respect and they were profesionally trained.

This Hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We had our converter but forgot the adapter, they were more than happy to let us borrow one, free of charge, same with their amazing umbrellas. The free breakfast had a large amount of options. The room came with free tea and coffee. Everyone was extremely polite. It's only half a block away from a major market street with plenty to do and a major train station is within walking distance.

Clean and newly renovated hotel with gym, breakfast, and bike rentals. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location. Would recommend to anyone who wouldn't mind staying in the touristy part of town!

The Scandic Palace is a good place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the bedding is comfortable and clean, and the bath area is large. Location at the mouth of major shopping areas in the center of the city are also a major plus, as was the closeness to the station. On the flipside, the room provided lacked the much hyped by their own placards "views of Copenhagen" - I faced a loading dock and an alley. The bathroom area flooded due to poor drainage in the floor and the sink was very, very small. Brrakfasts were delightful though!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Clean, modern rooms, and friendly and helpful staff. Perfect city centre base camp for days of exploration. The full breakfast was delicious. There are cheaper places around but this historic hotel in the heart of Copenhagen was fantastic.

Spacious Rooms, Friendly Staff, Great Breakfast
The location of the Scandic Palace is within walking distance of the airport train, but not so close as to be a “station hotel” with all the noise and hectic activity from the transit terminal. The Scandic Palace
When I first saw the Scandic Palace in Stockholm, I was worried because the street level of the hotel had lower-end stores and attractions, e.g., a 7-Eleven, Burger King, and a Ripley’s Believe of Not. Fortunately, once inside the lobby, the entire atmosphere changed to be much more upscale and modern. Scandic has wisely left the wonderful old architecture of the building in place, but has modernized the lobby, restaurant, bar, and sleeping rooms. Despite the “touristy” businesses at the street level of the building, the hotel is centrally located to be able to walk to Copenhagen’s shopping district, restaurants, and sights.
The bed was very comfortable, with a decent mattress. The room was large, and the bathroom quite reasonably sized, as well. There were electrical outlets near the bedside tables, which I find to be helpful since I use my mobile phone as my alarm clock.
Breakfast included a way array of choices. Just be sure to get to the dining room early or late in the 6:30am-10:00am breakfast period. The room can get quite crowded at “prime time” of 8:30am.
The bar is an excellent place for a drink and nibbles (or order a couple of starters from the restaurant menu to share); the gin cocktails are particularly terrific.response / report this review -

Fairly nice hotel, generally. Feels like the interior could use a refresh. Also seems to be in a part of town with a fair amount of street noise into the wee hours. The room was fairly quiet, but I was occasionally awakened by people talking loudly, laughing drunkenly, etc in the middle of the night. Hotel staff were excellent - very helpful, and the breakfast buffet is quite superb, with a full spread including eggs, bacon, breakfast sausages, beans, fried potatoes, mushrooms, several types of plain yogurt with all sorts of things to put in them, as well as several types of breads and breakfast pastries. It was all delicious. All in all, a very nice hotel, where we would probably stay again.

I was at Scandia Palace for a professional event. Even if it is an older (historical) building, everything was just perfect. - Rooms had everything you could ever want, service was fantastic, and the location couldn't be more central in Copenhagen!

Great service and staff. The room is beautiful with a great view. Location is perfect you can walk everywhere and we even rented bikes directly from the hotel. Highly recommended hotel.

The room is lovely and sufficient. The stairs make me feel like a princess as I walk through the hotel. We love the location! It is right across the street from Tivoli. The best part so far is the Bycyklen bikes are just across the street. We can take them anywhere, making our location even better!

We arrived very early in the morning and there were no rooms ready yet. They provided us with a map and pointed out the good stuff in town to enjoy. Really glad they did! Super nice staff!
I loved staying at the hotel. Loved the deep bathtub but I wonder how older people get in and out of it. I'm young and I had trouble getting in and out.
Breakfast buffet wasn't as good as I expected. Not the usual standard of Scandic hotels.response / report this review
