  Went there based solely on the good reviews of the place. It is really cozy, the waiters were really friendly but kept making mistakes on the order (brought half of two different orders to one person for example). The food tasted ok but it's not a place I'd regularly go back to.

  Cozy and romantic setting with large beautiful bar counter and lots of interesting objects and decorations. Friendly staff and traditional Danish dishes.

  Skønt sted med nok det bedste danske mad i byen. God atmosfære og godt udvalg af såvel mad som øl og vin. Jeg kommer her jævnligt, og de venner jeg har haft med har været meget glade for det.

  My wife and I were visiting Copenhagen from the states. This restaurant was recommended and we were lucky to get the only table not reserved for the night. The food was absolutely delicious, best "local" or Danish food we had on the entire trip (over a week). The owner waited our table and was a pleasure to meet and get to know. I would definitely recommend Kareten and would suggest arranging a reservation.
