Enjoyed the journey. Limited food selection available on board.
The DFDS ships going between Oslo and Copenhagen is rather old, but ok. Driving out of the Danish terminal is a bit confusing, going through a container yard, and few signs. But as long as you have other cars in front, it shouldn't be a problem. It's not that large.
I would not even give this DFDS Seaways ferry service even one star. Unless you have planned and booked well in advance, the price will change minute to minute. Their Website is a catastrophe and impossible to use. After a week of trying to book an overnight ferry to Oslo, we were finally able to complete the form with our passport and credit card information, but again the site crashed, before we could get a confirmation number. When we tried again the price had increased by 200 Euro. Finally we called. We explained that we had tried to repeatedly to book and gave the range of prices we had been quoted, we were prepared to pay the price we had been quoted the day before, but were told that that price was no longer available and the price had more than doubled. Eventually, we were so frustrated that we gave up and so furious that we would never recommend this company to anyone, nor give them any of our money. If they run their boats, like they run their business I would not want to sail on them.
Good customers service, from driving inside the boat until the way out again in Oslo . Lot of fun things to do inside and lot of good food. Recommend this trip to all
We have a lovely weekend cruise to Oslo Norway with DFDS Seaways.
Great experience, good service and good food.
