  Originally this area was part of the fortress surrounding Copenhagen. After the city grew bigger and bigger, some parts of the fortress were changed into parks including the Tivoli gardens. Enjoy.

  This was wonderfully quiet and serene when we visited on a Monday afternoon. Water, long grass, mysterious overgrown paths leading hither and thither - my kind of park!
