A great place to spend the day with your family. The centre is a combination of a medieval museum and a playground, with lots of things to explore and discover. I will especially recommended the trebuchet demonstration at noon, a very impressive display, followed by a visit to the local medieval restaurant "Den Gyldne Svane".

Wonderful, calm place to spend a day.
Lots of information and activities in a very lovely area.
I've visited twice, both times at the annual Open Evening event in october, and really enjoyed myself. They seem to be in a more or less perpetual developing and building stage, always working on adding new buildings.response / report this review -

Really enjoyed my visit. We arived late in the day but still all actors seemed busy with their tasks. The blacksmith, farmer, shoemaker, etc. Everything seems real authentic. Lots to do for kids. Dogs are allowed.
