Great family day out, also good active day out if the weather is rainy. Informative, engaging and enjoyable with a lot of fish species and sea creatures to observe. Shark, fish and seal feeding sessions throughout the day. Nice sea creatures themed outdoor playground. The food was OK, though not great. Certainly worth a visit if you’re spending time in the chilled out Djursland peninsula.
Excellent! Relaxing, informative atmosphere with no stress, highly recommended for young children especially, they can pet a skate! 😁
super cool for young and old. feel and see what is under the surface :-)
Not a very big place as we expected before we came. Also beware that the parking is NOT free. But nice place to go
Too small for the entrance fee . Great big sharks. Not enough sitting areas. The gift shop had mostly things that was not according to the fish they had there, like bathsoap and kitchen equipment.
We went on a Sunday and it was a lot of people. Parking was tricky. The place is OK, but you go through it very fast. The shark tunnel was cool, but overall it is a fairly small place.
This is the closest view I've ever seen of sharks. Amazing. The tank is just the right size that you are always staring at a shark of some sort. Best cold water exhibits I've ever seen.
Kids love it. We weren't expecting much and we're very pleasantly surprised. Lovely sea themed playground, great to be able to touch some of the fish and being able to watch the sharks being fed. A good family afternoon out.
Good variety of animals. The place does not seem very well maintained, but it's decent enough. Good place for kids. Staff seems awesome and inspired in their work.
Good place to spend some time and discover underwater world. Especially I love tube/tunnel under pool with sharks. There I feel like I can meet them face to face. And I very love small pool where I can touch some funny fishes.
A very good place for kids. This is a relatively small place with a lot of knowledge packed in!
It's very nice place to learn anything in the ocean and nice games as well.
Sharks are a clear attraction object to this place. If/when it rains in Denmark, people go here. Lots of people. So much, that there is lack of parking space (several circling rounds, and people starts to park illegally). The parking fee sign is discrete enough, it can be missed, giving a bad experience afterwards. The line gets long, keeping people standing outside in the rain waiting. Pricing is ok. Shark tunnel impressive enough, that you take it several times. The rest feels like an unlogic maze of various fish arts. I might be colored by the many visits to the Atlantic Park, Ålesund, but the two parks could easily learn from each other. The feeding was horrendous, as the speaker was talking NON STOP, with a very tiring voice. In over half an hour waiting people packed the shark pool, and people skipping the session, didn't miss much. Do another tunnel walkthrough, and you get more value.
