Classic Danish courses. Served in old decorated rooms. Too expensive for the simple food and service. But fun to try

Very traditional Danish food in this restaurant & bar, very well cooked. Professional.and friendly service by experienced people who know what they are doing. I would suggest booking a table, because this place is very popular. You could take a chance and turn up early for lunch with no booking, I've done it before with no problems, but my advice really is to book a table, especially for dinner.

Went into the cafe for lunch while in the vicinity. The exterior was very attractive with flags and the cafe seemed to have some heritage behind it. The food, although very reasonably priced, didn't seem fresh. The fish especially seemed like it was frozen rather than fresh hence the lower rating..

TRAUMATISING EXPERIENCE.
the employees were very unfriendly, the food very expensive, portions are small and everything is fatty. my experience can be perfectly summed up as: the chicken salad is a small glass of mayonaise with some pieces of chicken in it served on HALF a piece of toast by the grumpy waitress who doesn't even ask you is the food was okay when picking up the plates afterwards.response / report this review -

It's a really disappointed place because it might be good and full, but since the beginning we arrived and they told us in a rude way they were full so we booked for the next day, then we arrived and they didn't even respect our booking they gave us a small, uncomfortable table, they never approach or asked us for drinks; and even the manager knew we were foreign people, she gave us a Danish menu and she told us they didn't had an English menu. By the end we asked some French people that were aside us and they told us they had an English menu and that the food was not exceptional, so maybe the restaurant was full but I poorly recommend it.

Overpriced and not very good service. Food is average, ordered 4 different dishes and all came with bread. A pint of beer costs more than in London
