I like a good zoo and I like to see animals I wouldn't normally meet or see. I like zoos where the employees knows what they are doing and loves to share that knowledge and the animals with the visitors. Jyllands Park Zoo is one of those places.

Unfortunately, it is also one of those places that is caught between old and new times, most of the animals have very little space and it feels wrong. I know that they are expanding and that this is expensive but it still detracts from the visit.

So, in conclusion, it's a nice zoo and a visit will clearly support their efforts to expand and give the animals better lives with bigger cages 🙂

Nice place with a good variety of different animals. We saw a feeding of penguins where the attendant was really good at explaining things about them. Later we attended a sea lion feeding and they also performed all kinds of tricks.

The park isn't that big, though, and it's only open from 10-16.

People around the world should boycott the Jyllands Park Zoo, and Copenhagen, for that matter.
They should not be in the Zoo business, and certainly not allowed to kill healthy young Giraffes and Lions..

Unbelievable that you are thinking of murdering this poor giraffe because you want another one a female! Why not give him to another zoo or neuter him? Simply disgusting and cruel!!! I cant believe that there is a law allowing this or that the zoo manager or whatever they are called is going to make the same mistake as his college in Copenhagen!!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?????

When questioned about the giraffe they plan on also murdering, even though the world tells them this is immoral, their response is: "It doesn't affect us in any way. We are completely behind Copenhagen and would have done the same."

These are NOT people who we should be paying to trust lives with.
