Bus was okay, not very clear instructions on how to switch between buses,strong diesel smell in buses, be careful in Christmas market , father in law got pick pocketed first time in 76 years with lots and lots of travel, apparently big problem in Copenhagen right now

I visited Kopenhagen for 2 days. There were some flyers lying around at my hotel, so I decided to make a Sightseeing tour by bus. I bought the tickets online (without a boat tour) and got 10% off because of online booking. The Tour duration was round about 1 1/2 hours. You get earphones and then you choose your language. I would find it much better if the Sights were commenred "live" by a real person. All in all a good way to explore Kopenhagen. (I paid 30€ minus 10% online discount for a 48h ticket, without boat-tour).

REDBUS TOURS sold me tickets for bus + boat tours with the flyer information that the boats would be available until 17:00, but I arrived at their boat stop (which have no indication that belonged to them) before 15:00 and was told that the last boat had already left.
I lost 35 euros per ticket and my last day in Copenhagen because of a company that shows only misleading information in every type of media they use. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!response / report this review -

RED BUS is really a waste of money. The company sold us boat tickets without including a schedule whatsoever, so we assumed the tours would go until 17:00 as described on their flyer. Soon we learned the last boat tour departed at 14:40 from a boat stop with no signs or indications. To sum up, me and my partner payed 70€ for four bus stations and no boat ride on our last day in Copenhagen.
Being confronted about this matter, a staff member of one of the buses was completely rude and another person (responsible for the phone services) told me that the boats were out of business since 22nd of december (7 days ago!) and that we bought the tickets from a third party. So either the company is selling tickets for offers which are not even available or their customer services have no idea what's going on and try to put the blame on somebody else.

Not as good as it could be. Audio worked inconsistently but was very interesting and informative when functioning. Pick up - departure times not listed at stops. Drivers are pleasant and helpful.

I have been on hop on hop off tours in many cities in different countries and this one is BY FAR the worst. It's incredibly disorganized (the stops are not even in numerical order or any kind of order that makes sense) The times are not listed or posted anywhere you'd think to look, and 1/2 of the routes finish in the middle of the day. I bought the bus and boat combo for 245 K ( $40 USD) that was good for 2 days but when I arrived at 3 pm the second day was told the tour I wanted was finished for the day. The man working the booth was rude and just yelled at me that he is not paid enoughJUST AWFUL. Do not waste your money. Loads of people from different countries were complaining that the tour was confusing and poorly run.

We have been on many Hop-on-hop-off bus tours in different cities and this was the most expensive and least informative. We were charged more than was stated on the Copenhagen Guide which we had picked up at the Tourist Office for a trip which only lasted 60 minutes.
It felt as if the tour was being used to advertise certain hotels and shops which were of no interest, interspersed with boring music whilst we drove past interesting buildings which didn't get a mention. Although in fact the route missed out many of the highlights of Copenhagen which then took us time to find. We usually use these bus tours to spark our interest in revisiting places but there was little on that tour which we wished to revisit.
Often the information was 'out of sync' with what you were actually looking at so very confusing. Not to be recommended.response / report this review
