This place is located on the outskirts of Middelfart and even though it is called a castle, it reminded me more of a big farm. The property boasts very large and gorgeously landscaped grounds. You can choose whether you want to go hiking by the seaside or roam the surrounding forests and meadows. In the evenings you can see herds of deer just outside the hotel. The service is impeccable, the rooms are nicely decorated and very functional. The beds are comfortable. The food in this place deserves a special mention - breakfast, lunch and dinner options are very rich and refined. A truly gourmet experience. They also do have a large wine and beer selection. Overall, a great place for a weekend getaway for couples, families and those, who just need a break from the busy city life.

Beautiful castle and rooms are clean and exquisite. Service was a little poor. Food was overpriced for the bland taste.

Great conference place. Spent a day here with my company and its one of the best places I've been even though it's not an easy place to get to as far public transportation goes.

Nice enviroment, the surronding woods, animalske lige, view, etc. Was astounding nice tidy rooms and a Professional approach to the hotel in general, nice foods and a lovely personel

The best place we had in Denmark. Nice and confortable room (we had a private exit on the backyard) with a very nice bathroom. Wonderful breakfast which include fresh squeeze orange juice. Wondeful location in perfect natural area for walking including deer in the wild which can be seen everyday.

Beautiful exterior, with modern and sleek interior. Rooms are cozy, and have good space for more than just sleeping. Together with nice service this place is a must visit if you want to spend some quality time relaxing.
