Museum is not that big but you can learn a lot about his life. Really enjoyed it
Nice story and good exhibits. You really got a feel for the challenges that HCA experienced during his life. Don't bother going downstairs though.
Not charming, not tourist friendly, not cheap, and a waste of valuable time. The site is surrounded by a construction zone with ugly modern condos and the grounds lack charm. Closing hours are too early in the day. The adjacent faux street seems to exist just for facebook photo opportunities.
Interesting look at HC's life. We spent about an hour there.
Hard to imagine how Anderson could overcome the obstacles in his life and create such imaginary works. Humble place in good condition.
Very nice place! Free entrance to the garden and not so expensive also inside
Cute but nothing special in itself. The location is disconnected with the rest of the city during the renovation in Odense.
Hopefully the house will become more a part of the Odense Icon once the renovations in city centre is finalised.
The renovations are great for Odenses future but should be finalised faster as it at the time being is a shame for the city.
!my chilhood! I love his stories and finally i ve been there to see with my eyes. Well the place is very quiet and giving you an historical feeling. Inside the museum is not that large in 1 hour you can visit all of them. If you want to send postcard there is a postbox just at first right street from the exit of the museum. You ll see it when you are in one of the roon of anderson
Absolutely brilliant place. Learned a lot about HC Andersen and his life stories. Very interesting and a must-visit when you go to Odense!
I love this place. You have to come here of you're visiting odense. They have a huge winter celebration here. It was excellent
It is a fairy tale house itself. Beautiful garden and very well preserved. Beautiful books and souvenirs in the shop
H.C. Andersens house inside a museum and a fun walk because the doorways are very low like in the old days.
