One of my favourite restaurants when I visit Copenhagen. Forget about European dishes and get a platter of traditional food and schnapps.
The service is excellent. They have heaters indoor. It's spotless and I can't fault the food.
Best place to eat in Copenhagen.
Had their Smørrebrød, absolutely amazing and worth it.
If you go, it's a must!
Really good food and very kind and observant waiters.
This restaurant inside Tivoli garden has a great atmosphere with good food and very friendly service. Tasted traditional Danish open sandwich here. It was really good. I think the prices were slightly more.
If you are visiting Copenhagen then the Grøften Restaurant in Tivoli is a great place to try the Danish traditional food. The fish is absolutely delicious. It is a bit expensive though.
Nice place to taste traditional open face Danish sandwiches or have a traditional Danish evening meal. Moderately expensive, and during summer it is a good idea to reserve a table as soon as you get to Tivoli Gardens or before over phone or web.
The Christmas hors d'oeuvre deluxe which is comprised of 9 different Danish Christmas specialities, is both excellent and extremely difficult to finish. Of course, drinking a liter of Jule bryg along with aquavit adds to the enjoyment.
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely food and very decent portion sizes, a lot larger than it looks from the outside pathway and local beers available. I had lamb shanks and friend had salmon, both dishes great.
