Gorgeous! If you are lucky, you will hear an organ concert. Must see while in Copenhagen.
Simply a stunning piece of architecture build by one of Copenhagen’s most influential families.
Church is made with Norwegian marble - slightly more “rough” than the Italian marble people mostly know.
If open try a trip up into the dome for a picturesque view of Copenhagen.
Nice view. They only offer 30 people every day to climb only at 13 o clock.
Excellent church within walking distance from Amalienborg and Nyhavn, there is construction happening outside (as of July 2017) which makes access a bit difficult but nevertheless a great church, worth a visit to see the ornate interiors.
Exceptional Church!
Classy and holy at the same time. Very Beautiful. Its pretty next to Amalienborg Palace and visible from most places within the city.
Respextful well maintained domed church. Exquisite architecture
Really nice dome. It's free to enter, just respect the silence.
The inside is very different from what i am used to and very suggestive.
Would defined recommend
Unfortunately we weren't able to go in as we were there around 6 pm and there's also some construction work going on around it.
But just to admire this grande church from outside is a joy and continuing to the Amalienborg square you get some nice photos of both places.
Stunning 18th/19th-century church in the heart of a beautiful part of the city.
Beautiful architecture and history of Church will take you back in time. Must see.
Quite a grand looking church. Didn't get to learn much about the Marble Church, as it's called but was quite awed by the interior. The dome is the centre piece of the church and one can just sit in the pews and admire the paintings up there.
One of the most beautiful churches in Copenhagen - there's quite a few of them here! Head early or you'll find yourself amongst a horde of tourists.
Wonderful, just wonderful. Magical really. Phenomenal mosaic of a chicken. Lovely place to just sit and contemplate life. Shame there isn't wifi.
