The electrician came and had to repair various things, but instead made a huge short circuit, which, among other things, caused our fairly new washing machine to catch fire. Eiland just shirks responsibility and won't replace the washing machine. The other things they've done, they've had to redo 2-3 times and one of our dimmer relays still doesn't work. All in all, it is a VERY unprofessional experience.

I have previously used Eiland Electric's from Holbæk, where I was fully satisfied. Both with the work and also the price.
That's why I contacted them again when I had to install a junction box + 2 sockets in the garden. This time it was the director who accepted the order and explained that Eiland Electric's did not carry out inspections on these types of tasks (but they did with the previous task). I explained that I had sockets myself, but no junction box. The director misinformed his employees and told them I had ALL the equipment myself.
All cable laying and digging in the ground was done before they showed up. But was somewhat surprised that Eiland Electric assessed that the task was for 2 employees, without alerting us (this could have been solved with an inspection). A journeyman at NOK 611 per hour and an apprentice at NOK 387 per hour. I was informed that they themselves pay for the time for lunch, but the time on the invoice shows that the customer does. The total price was NOK 7,000.
They had billed 12 fitter hours for installing 2 sockets, which I believe could be done much faster. I could provide evidence (with built-in monitoring of the house/land register, illustrated with signs) that they had only been here 2 x 5 hours. Although they have acknowledged over-invoicing, they have chosen not to refund anything. Therefore, it now ends with an appeals court case and perhaps later a court.
After the manager saw this review, he called and grumbled with personal statements and gave a long monotone explanation that none of it was their fault. Really amateur way of handling their own mistakes and not least their customers.
After such treatment, it is definitely not a company I would recommend to anyone. Better choose a company that can handle customer service in a professional manner.response / report this review -

Super good man who was sent out - come the same day we called. He could hug, come on time - all appointments complied.
