The nice park, but it's also the only park in Denmark that you need to pay to visit!

I've been to Egeskov many times, and every time has been lovely. We like to come here to have lunch in the gardens, but visiting the castle is also a fun time.

A great destination! The grounds and gardens are a great mix of landscaped beauty, a maze you can properly get lost in, a tree top walk, various picnic areas and vast kids playground and activity spots. The castle itself looks amazing with its moat, and you can visit a majority of the rooms even tho it is still actually lived in!

Great for the kids and adults. You can bring your own good if you'd like but they have good food there to buy as well.

An amazing place that we visited under the Heartland festival. We had a nice dinner in the park near the castle with wonderful chefs from Copenhagen. Plenty of nice music and wonderful people!

Very beautiful park and gardens. The Castle is surrounded by well-maintained gardens and its inside can be visited. In the surrounding buildings, there is an exhibition with classic cars, bikes, bicycles, planes and rescue vehicles. There many different exhibits, however the transition between the different time periods is sometimes very abrupt. The bikes are a bit hard to find, but well worth seeing: they are hanging on ropes attached to the ceiling.
Other attractions of the park include a maze, a treetop walking path, a large children's playground, a segway course and a shop. The variety of attractions and vastness of the area makes it possible to spend a whole day in the park without ever getting bored.
This is why the park is well worth a visit even though the entrance is quite expensive.
