An activist's teacher training college! :)
Extra-ordinary teacher training with many hands-on elements, like "learn to travel - travel to learn". In the first year you travel to Western Africa over land, experiencing life there and learning about the continent.
In the second year you learn about the European reality by working and doing community work - mobilising people to welcome refugees and taking care of the vulnerable in society.

DNS is the school that will challenge yourself as you would never expect. The opportunity of balance the theoretical knowlege with a learning process outside of the classroom while traveling and knowing people is one of the few in a lifetime.
Intensive and fulfilling it is a place that will test yourself, your dreams and will give you unforgetable experiences.
It is not just a school, is a life style and a global change.

Its a place, which shapes the global teachers and citizens! I have not only became a part of the team but the whole community at once. Now i share my daily life with other fellow students, teachers, students with special needs and other workers. It feels great to be surrounded by some many people with different background. We collaborate, discuss, involve and learn individually and in common. Besides, we do a lot of practical actions and maintain the school together, which builds the feeling of ownership, what we do not normally get in most of the educational institutions. I have a feeling of belonging here! 5 stars for the quality of real education what is so needed in our society!

I am fully satisfied with this place. I have been here for 3 years. After all the challenges I have gone through, I feel have done much more than in previous 24 years of my life. I definitely recommend everyone to come here and see. Or even apply to study :).

I am glad that I decided to join and work together with all different kind of people from the world. Because our goal is to be another kind of teacher to teach by heart and to make the world a better place. Why DNS? - Because of challenges, experiences, travels, studies, for changes and for the people. It isn’t a simple education, it brings you out from your comfort zone, pull you to challenge yourself, to cooperate with other people.
And here I am, to challenge others and myself, to be enough brave to do it different.

I met guys, students themselves, from this university, and what they do is truly amazing! Where else would you find a university building social awareness, teaching to research the real social/political/environmental/cultural issues and working with people on the field while travelling in Africa as a part of their degree?!
DNS is a strong non-formal education university. And if you are traveller looking for a degree, person keen on helping others or making an impact on the world, or a youngster full of ideas but bored of traditional education, DNS is the place for you! This guys are so genuine and passionate about what they do.. I definitely want to continue working with them! :)

This is much more than just a Bachelor degree. I'm sure you will look at your final diploma as mere accessory. You will not only learn from the formal program but also from the place itself - that being Tind's community or wherever in the world that you are with your team. You will learn how to learn (and, therefore, grow), from any situation or person, how to foment and practice valuable and progressive teaching, to cultivate a critical counsciousness and to be meaningfully proactive.
It is definetly worthy to (at least!) come check it out, to feel and live in this environment, while you may participate on it voluntarily - just like I'm doing. Everyday I learn, I am challenged and I get a great joy from it I am absolutely loving it!

I am a DNS student of second year. Since I arrived to Tvind I learnt so much, and there is still way to go! I am truly thankful about everything I got from this program and i think it can offer as much to everyone. Together we make the place and the place makes us. THANK YOU VERY MUCH DNS :)

You learn about reality. You learn to act and to find solutions. You get international relations. You learn to lift together - and to enjoy life together.

My life will never be the same after studying in DNS! I would repeat every single minute of my education there if given a chance. Unforgettable experiences and people Where do you learn that all of us are teachers, who, in one or another way, heroically dedicate their lives to the future generations
