I have mostly just used DGI huset for going swimming and going to the sauna. It is probably the best place in close proximity to go for a nice hot Sauna and their swimming facilities are the best. They have for all ages. Also they offer a gym and food in the entrance.

Excellent hotel. Showers and rooms clean and tidy. Room service work in timely manner. Breakfast was nice except the scrambled eggs which were unbelievably not tasty. Also there is an issue with spot lights above the beds - delicate and halogen burnt fast that the quality of lighting went down but cant blame them for it. Great wellness area and swimming pool. Gym and exercise areas were also impressive.

Went there to go swimming in Vandkulturhuset. It was lovely, but the showers are horrible - hardly no water comes out due to limescale, and the water only runs for about 15 seconds, which makes it difficult to wash out shampoo (and I'm not sure if people care to be hygienic, when the water so bad)

I rate the exercise section 10/10 with more than enough exercise machines and even a swimming area.

It's a nice central hotel to stay in Herning, plenty of parking, the sports facility here is excellent too, great swimming pool and gym. Breakfast in morning is better than most in Denmark with quite a few options.

Rooms were very clean but are a little bland and not what you would call cozy, absurd situation like all across the continent where you are given a single duvet for a double bed and pillows that have no padding whatsoever.
