Der mangler lys ! Og toiletforholdene er elendige ! Og nu ser jeg at der er et projekt der hjælper på begge forhold, fantastisk ! Men hvad er nu det. De højrøvede danske arkitekter, der sidder langt fra Bornholm er ikke tilfredse, nogen har trådt dem over tæerne ! Gud fader bevares ! Danske arkitekter der kritiserer på afstand, hvor herre bevares ! Jeg håber virkelig projektet bliver til noget - uden ændringer ! Og jeg håber den danske befolkning tager afstand fra den højrøvede danske arkitektstand !

Museets beliggenhed er fantastisk, tæt på Helligdomsklipperne. Arkitekturen passer godt ind i omgivelserne. Der er en fin skulptur samling omkring museets bygninger. Udover de skiftende udstillinger er der meget interessant mere eller mindre lokal kunst.

This museum makes the art displayed interesting by relating the often provincial paintings to the museum's surroundings. It's located by the sea, in a location much the same as what has attracted artists to Bornholm through centuries. You can immediately relate the paintings of villages, fishermen, nature and seascapes, to what you see around you, and follow the varying interpretations of Bornholm nature and light up to the present.

The architecture is at surface the usual white modernist temple, but unfolds with surprises through the rooms in varying material choices and a great use of colour. Sights of the surroundings is available through windows and openings, and even by a footbridge that takes you over the pastures closer to the sea.

Attractive architecture. Modern art paintings where dull and uninteresting. 18th to 19th century paintings on display are much better.
