I love this Japanese restaurant, not any sushi any more, but the food is amazing.
They do have Japanese beers on tab. If you like Japanese whiskey this is the place to go to too.
It is owned and operated by a small Japanese family, from the youngest guy the chef to the old grandmother. I would even think when the chef's kids crows up they too would be there. You can of course order your food in Japanese. They are often closed in October as the family goes back to Japan on vacation.

A really lovely little place with great Japanese dishes and very friendly staff. I had some great sashimi served in a boat that was just the right kind of tacky. I also tried the best gyōzas I've had in my life.

Small, cozy Japanese restaurant offering traditional teishoku style plates. That is to say that there is a central dish which you will choose from the menu, surrounded by bowls of miso soup, plain white rice, fresh fruit, assorted pickles and salad.

I had the gyoza which were very good and the portion size was just right. Our host was an absolute gentleman and served us with a level of respect and politeness seldom found outside of Japan. The Japanese culture has definitely made it over to this place. Our Bill was handed to us with two hands and a respectful bow was offered as we left. Definitely check it out of you want to try a different style of Japanese dining to the increasingly common modern street food and dime-a-dozen westernised sushi places you can find in any city these days.

Very small and cozy restaurant in the cellar, service was good but took a while to get the food even though we were the second table there. The food was excellent, small dishes for a reasonable price, but was not full after the lunch.

A great escape to Japan in almost the heart of Copenhagen. From the classic teishokus to the bentos and edamame while waiting for your food, the atmosphere in these place exudes what a Japanese food joint is: small and a bit cramped, but with delicious food nonetheless.

Delicious food, authentic flavour. Having lived in Japan for a few years it's been a bit difficult finding food that tastes and is presented in the same way as it is in Japan, this place has all I could wish for. Service was great, food came quickly. A gem if you're looking for Japanese food/atmosphere.
Be vary of the Japanese Bloody Mary :)

Fantastic lunch! Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere. Was served japenese lemonade that was a challenge to open, loved it!
