We enjoyed the time there.
The history is well presented your yound and old.
Nice Stuff.
You can do some things by your own, like writing letters, baking bread

Historic place. Denmark and Germany in war in 1884. Very realistic place to visit. Definitely worth a visit also for families with children. There are lots of realistic buildings and exhibits. Once you have visited the place, you can go down to Dybbøl mill. Is it a summer day you visit the place, lies Vemmingbund beach, not far from there. A lovely beach

This is a visitor centre, not a large museum, and as such, it's pretty good.

All around pleasant experience and very friendly guide for the outside-tour. I am from Germany and found the presentation of the museum interesting: while the suffering and tragedy of a military conflict was not under-represented, there was still a note of a theme park atmosphere to this place. Worth a visit.
