Nice rooms, without being flashy. Bathrooms were very small. Very nice furniture (several Danish design classics) throughout the hotel. It was however a disappointment that our party (13 grownups) didn't get a tablecloth on our table, and the wine glasses were very low quality. I'm certain this was because we had "open bar". Many restaurants use the trick with small wine glasses, so the guests doesn't drink as much. This however is showcased when all other tables are given large high quality glasses.

This place is in desperate need of remodeling. Also, the WiFi was so bad I had to stand at the door to sign in. Decent staff although not very accommodating.

I stayed in this Hotel 5 days at the beginning of December 2016, during a business trip.
PRO:
- Location: in the very central square of Svendborg, you can walk everywhere in minutes.
- Parking: There is a big free parking, you just need to ask for a pass.
- Cleanness: the hotel and the room were extremely clean and well maintained.
- Breakfast: good choice of food from sweet to salty.
- Bed: Comfortable.
CONS:
- ROOM: it was a little bit compact, not really spacy.
- Bathroom: very small and with a problem with the electric plug that was not screwed to the wall, it seemed unsafe.response / report this review -

The buffet had a large variety to chose from and waiters with great knowledge who could tell and explain about the wines that they served.

The morning breakfast buffet is absolutely excellent. Nice rooms and the hotel is situated central in Svendborg.
