It's a good place to be..relaxed and hospitable staff. The outdoor pool is excellent and the view of the Red Sea from the lobby is excellent. Room service is great!! Would recommend anyone anytime!

Beautiful views on the Red Sea. Wake up early to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. Restaurant offers a variety of fresh food, fish, meat. They have a large choice of dessert and breakfast is ok as well.
You can also enjoy the gym and the pool or the private beach of the hotel.
Wifi is very poor and definitely has to be checked on the third floor where I was staying

I wait like one hour at the reception until they give me my room key. They are really slow and give you lots of forms to fill and one reception man work with 10 guests at the same time.
The room service is really poor, when they clean my room they tacke the used towels but they didn't bring new until I complain to the reception.
On the first night I called the room service to ask them about the breakfast time the woman hang up the phone without any respect and didn't answer my question.
It was a horrible 4 days.

Sheraton is the best place to reside while you at Djibouti, you dont HV to worry security is 99% guaranteed, and services are world class.

Good for Djibouti, always too expensive compared with what you get but Djibouti is like that, nice people and very good food

Fantastic place. Food is excellent and they do live bands too. Few issues for me: people smoke everywhere, rooms can do with an uplift or modernising, bathrooms in particular. Rooms not very clean too and for the same cost, you can get better rooms in Djibouti but not the ambiance sadly.

Its a nice place. The swimming pool is great. You can spend the evening by the pool, its a nice experience, the view is great. Regarding the room, they are somewhat good and clean, but the room service is pathetic. The breakfast is good with wide range of options.

It's a great hotel but has lost aot of its shine for lack of standardization of service. The front office operations largely depends on the person on duty. The day I checked in there seemed to have been a huge row in the office next to the check in desk. Only one person was manning it but she clearly seemed overwhelmed.
The service in all areas need improvement and workers need training. The housekeeping is the most critical in this area. I asked for a missing drain stopperin my bathtub to be fixed all day before the wrong one was placed at night. Of course it didn't work and I gave up in ever using the tub. Cleaning was haphazard and supplies of soap, towels, and water was random. I had a hot water kettle, but only had a cup for only three days out of six. No sugar was supplied except two types of tea bags.
Of the four pillows only two had clean covers and I gave up asking after several attempts. The restaurant had good food but the service staff would largely be talking around among themselves and not pay attention or as in one instance, I would stand to go for coffee (not offered) and found my whole half eaten breakfast and cutlery hauled away.
Then the cost of staff, I served a light lunch from a buffet after skipping soup, starter or desert and was promptly charged $57. Still wondering what it was about since none of the menus had items with anything beyond $20.

I am writing this after having just bit into an utterly raw chicken sandwich I ordered from room service. I ordered a pizza to replace as pizza is hard to mess up. They did. Dough was undercooked. Sitting oil from cheese on top, to the point where it slides off the pizza when tilted. Zero love put into the food. The breakfast is gross and the lunch is $38 for a substandard buffet. Incredibly overpriced, with sandwiches that are not good costing between 2300-2900 DJF.

In addition to the overpriced and spectacularly bad food, there is no hot water. Every morning I take a luke warm shower. The only good thing about this hotel is that some of the staff are nice. I will never stay here again. Complete waste of money. I just hope I don't get sick from the chicken.

The hotel is very old and over over charges. You should ask for everything from house keeping you might think it should be available in normal Sheraton standard rooms. Advice don't accept rooms in 2nd floor

Friendly staff but the hotel is run down and needs lots of fixing. rooms are carpeted and they seem not well vacuumed. the location is wonderful and offers lots of new opportunities. manager is very friendly and aware of what needs to be done. hopefully soon we will give this hotel five stars if he continues with his refub plans.

I stay at hundreds of hotels.. the staff here is friendly and accommodating, which made the 2 hr. check-in process somewhat bearable (free beer, dinner, etc for the trouble). But then I entered the room - a prison cell whose torture device was a chemical cigarette smell, and who's windows did not open. Not worth the price nor the precious SPG points. The ONLY saving grace were the people/staff - friendly, service focused. This is a 1 star, should not have the Sheraton name.

It's a bit run-down, things are not well-coordinated, and the prices are higher than the value delivered. But, it's apparently getting better.

Breakfast and pool were surprisingly good, but the bedroom and bathroom were not cleaned properly and smelled of old cigarette smoke. The ATM ate my friends credit card. Reception / management were highly inefficient during check in and check out.

Slightly worn, but friendly staff. Management a responsive to solving issues. Breakfast is decent but not superior. There are some issues with having breakfast items ready upon opening. Pool is too warm.
