Traditional German beer house with delicious food. Certainly an experience for visitors from abroad. Order the pork leg if you dare! Delicious for two people to share

If you are traveling through Duesseldorf and want to experience a great authentic German meal you can't go wrong with a stop here. I personally tried the Oxtail ragout (stew) which had a phenomenal flavor along with a great portion size (think about splitting it). The interior fits exactly with how you imagine an old German restaurant to look and feel right down to the wavy floor you experience while heading to the restrooms. Highly recommended.

Breakfast menu without tea or coffee. No napkins or paper towels were provided with my order. I spilled some tea on the table thus went to get some paper to wipe off. The service lady came running towards me and said I will give it. I picked up 3-4papers. She took all from my hand. Give me 1 paper napkin. Then she came to my table wiped a bit and went away. Leaving rest of the table dirty. Cheap

Famous taste house. It is difficult to reserve dinner with a companion of 5 or more. Most restaurants in the city do not book a large number of people during the exhibition period. Traditional school buses, assorted menus, beer and drinks are all good. Cabbage pickles were particularly good.

Super rude waiters. God forbid one to be in this restaurant closer to closing hour. Half an hour before they started literally kicking you out by throwing chairs and cleaning up. Pay your bill- we are closed!- are the real words of the waiter. I used to like the place years ago, but now obviously they rely too much on the fame of the restaurant. Food was precooked and heated.

Great historical brewery restaurant - excellent food (you need to order a starter to get satisfied, we ordered a second main course), very friendly service - we appreciated it and can recommend.

Napoleon ate there and it offered traditional no fuss German food. In the winter it is always full (reservation recommended) in the summer they offer some outdoor seating. The staff is efficient and friendly and they been there for years! A must visit if your in Düsseldorf
