Traditional Bavarian restaurant. Simple tasty food, with beer. Hidden away and not really a tourist trap. Good quick service. And the food really is good. Great atmosphere. Mix of locals, Germans visiting, foreign tourists. The old and the young.
Try it!
I had 7 hours between flights so I went into Munich looking for good food and beer. I found both here, quick and friendly service as well.
Great classic German food. Loved the atmosphere and the level of service. A definitive stop when in Munich!
Good food, angry waitress I was extremely polite and wanted to order more when she made her face angry and said some curse words in german really shocked.
Excellent food. This restaurant completely changed my negative perception of German cuisine. The service was fast, very friendly and helpful. The staff speaks excellent English and are ready to help with selecting a dish. Highly recommended.
Food was great, nice selection. Not a huge beer selection, but good enough. Staff was great!
Really great food with the usual great beer nice and secluded with a nice covered beer garden at the rear. Would recommend.
Warm and friendly. Typical Bayerische menu for those who are keen to explore local culinary dishes. Steak was fantastic and cooked to perfection.
The first person we met to choose a sit was nice, but after the waitress didn't want to help us to choose anything in the menu, blew when we asked for an advise on beers and food, and was rude all along.
We only took two soups as a starter, and left because of the waitress. The soups were correct.
Lovely, homespun, Bavarian restaurant that caters to a mix of locals and tourists alike. The slightly off-the-beaten path location makes it feel like you've stumbled upon a secret spot in the middle of the city!
Service was friendly and the hostess even treated my son to few extra chocolates as he was headed out the door, a sweet goodbye.
Tip: If it is a nice day and the outdoor tables out front are full, there is a small outdoor seating area in the back of the restaurant as well.
