Ordered the schnitzel, it was melt in your mouth amazing. It came with a cheezy German Potato salad. The beer is seher gut too.

This is why I love "southern" Germany. Great food, great people, beautiful scenery. Please don't get mad in the north. You just have a urban attitude.

Great sausages, great view. It is the oldest kitchen that serves 'wurst', it was the canteen of the traders and workers. It's not very cheap but you pay for the history and the location. It also has a more romantic setting inside of the bigger building and other food too. Cash only.

Located just next to the stone bridge, it's definitely one of the main landscape of Regensburg.
If you have tine, walk across the stone bridge and turn left about 3/4 of the way towards Alte Linde. Go down to the small grass patch, continue walking to the right away from the bridge and you'll find a great spot to view the bridge.

Excellent sausages. We had several. Try their mustard. We liked it so much we bought some to take home with us.

Being the oldest sausage kitchen in the world, we had to try it. Just few items on the menu but it was okay for us as we knew exactly what we wanted to get. Hubby ordered the wurst with sauerkraut and mine was grilled pork with sauerkraut. Overall thumbs up for the food but overly priced. It's a tourist jackpot! Would I go back there again. Unlikely.

They say it's the oldest "continuously operating" public restaurant in the world. I say grab a Wurst and a Liter, park it along the Danube and enjoy yourself.

Historical building..Great price for really good sausages. There seems to always be a queue but it moves fairly quick.

Lierally one of the oldest standing restaurants in the world. Always a queue to get your sausages, always worth the wait. Living History that you can eat!
