  Wieder mal im Steigenberger, wobei wir dieses Mal das Tapasrestaurant besuchen wollten. Leider fanden wir die Weinwirtschaft Leander vor, kleine Zwischengänge , wie ehemals gab es, aber Sie hatten mit der Erinnerung vor 2Jahren nichts gemein.
  Weiterer Wermutstropfen, es gab Wein , 0,2 l, ab 7,- Euro pro Glas. Sicher waren es gute Weine, aber es sprengte unsere Vorstellung.
  Das Ergebnis präsentierte sich im Lokal , welches fast leer war !
  An den Kellnern lag es nicht, welche sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Ach das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Nur die Preise für Wein passten nicht und am Essen sollte die Qualität der " Tapas" Geschmacksanreger gearbeitet werden.
  Hier würde ich dringendste am Konzept basteln, das vorherige Konzept war erstklassisch, das jetzige empfinde ich als schlecht !

  Super Idee als MIttagsangebot ein "Business Lunch" anzubieten.

  Eine super Bedienung, schöne Auswahl an Gerichten und Weinen, keine lange Wartezeiten und das Essen war einfach nur super.

  truly wonderful totally unexpected gourmet experience!
  
  Since we only had an hour to get to the last tour of the Wartburg on a sunny cold January Saturday, we opted for lunch in our hotel and weren’t expecting much. My Spanish husband was especially suspicious of the Thüringer tapas on the menu, so we began just with three soups for the three of us: wild mushroom, potato, and a fish soup named after the restaurant. All three were so truly delicious that we ordered a full round of tapas that were just as tasty as they were creatively prepared: regular chorizo was combined with a lentil salad, Serrano ham with sour cream and basil, blue-violet potatoes with herbs and quark, Thüringer dumpling with cream cheese and herbs, grilled salmon with a bit of rucola salad served with Dijon mustard dressing.
  
  We left very well fed for our great tour of the Wartburg and were so impressed by our light lunch that we decided to come back for dinner in our hotel and chose two three-course specials. One started with a tasty pumpkin soup, the other with an appetizer that could’ve counted as an entrée: a surprising combination of trout with red beets and a radish potato dressing. We had the rack of lamb and the Wiener Schnitzel for our main courses and were only a bit disappointed that we had no room for more dessert than a small portion of ice cream. And our final bill for our party of three was less than € 100 – making five-star value for money!

  Kann die positive Meinung nicht teilen. Heute abend mit 2 Kollegen auf Geschäftsreise 1,5 !! Std gewartet bis das Hauptgericht kam. Die als Vorspeise bestellten Tapas kamen etwas schneller aber nicht wesentlich. Mein Gericht: Hirschkeule mit Kirschsauce, Rotkohl und "Thüringer" Kartoffelkloß hat bis auf den Rotkohl gar nicht geschmeckt. Der Thüringer Kloß war möglicherweise aus einem Thüringer Supermarkt - aber bestimmt nicht hausgemacht. Die Soße zum trockenen, traurigen grauen Hirsch sauer und etwas Zucker sowie Sahne o.ä. mit Fett als Geschmacksträger wäre bitter nötig gewesen.
  Das Ambiente ist ganz nett, die Tapas ok - "richtig" essen würde ich hier nie wieder.
