Great place to visit around Christmas time as there was a Christmas market in the courtyard of the castle. Overlooks Landshut. Good spontaneous visit. You will have to park a good 5-10min walk from the entrance. When I arrived, the parking near by the castle was closed for the Christmas market workers. Don't forget the museum through the visitor center, containing artifacts and old relics - free with entrance fee. Enjoy.

German only tour, but you can get an English read a long pamphlet, regardless it is a beautiful place and fantastic tour even if you only know a little German

Amazing views of oldtown. Beautiful gardens all around. Hard to go by foot from oldtown.

A romantic castle in the classical sense. Walking its narrow passages and gateways it's easy to forget that you're in the 21st century. At the end of the walk it presents you a beautiful view of the charming city.

Went here and joined the guided tour. Although it was in German they provided an English translation sheet. They also provides an English booklet for the room of trinkets.
