Amazing American food resturant (also got mexican food and Italyains) I am definitely going bacl there everytime I visit Berlin. Love the place and the food is Super great

Very slow and poor service, staff stood around behind bar after we ordered drinks, doing nothing. Place a little dirty in general and toilets don’t look like they have been cleaned in weeks, if ever. Didn’t have food here but after seeing the state of toilets where customers are going to see, I’d not like to think about the state of the kitchen you can’t see.

Spare ribs were not great, pizza crust was a bit too hard. Some of the staff seemed to ignore us when we came in, we had to wait a long time before we got a menu. But after that we got a very friendly and attentive waiter. The restaurant has a nice interior.

The food is tasty and the price totally fair, just don't come here expecting the best burger you've ever eaten.
The ambience lives up to the name - feels like a big step back in time. There's everything you'd expect in a typical diner from the 60s - pictures of Elvis, jukeboxes on nearly every table, neon signs and American flags everywhere. You will feel amazingly cozy thanks to the squishy seats and warm colours in here.
Definitely a recommendation for people who love burgers and don't want to pay for more than they get.response / report this review -

If you haven't been in US, this place can give the atmosphere of the diners from there. The staff is nice and tries to offer a good service, okay food but the at least it's a large portion and really cool that you can choose the music

I like it. I love diners so bit biased but the atmosphere is good. Very busy for lunch. Food was good, i had breakfast foods. The pancakes with fruit, but hardly any fruit, its garnish shouldn't really be an 'item' mentioned on the menu.. and I got some bacon and eggs which were good, with a salad as well, but the cucumber was dried out and I got the butt of the tomato with the green bit ya know. It's those little things, hence one star less Coffee is decent.. but the food that passed me, burgers, fries all looked great and big meals as well so I will be back!

I've worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years in the United States and this place is a complete tourist trap. It was the worst meal we had during our one week stay in Berlin.
First off, the menu has English titles for the food, but the descriptions/ingredients are only written in German. This is confusing because the restaurant is obviously American themed, of course it is in Germany, but you would expect to be able to read the menu and understand the ingredients having only known English. The waitress did not know much English to help us understand the menu (not blaming her, just saying, this added to our confusion).
The margarita I had was terrible. It tasted like rubbing alcohol. My partner ordered a milkshake, which was good. But he also ordered water for himself. The waitress brought us a large bottle which cost us nearly 6 euros, even though I did not order water. This was more expensive than my margarita (4 euro).
He had a burger, which was okay, but cooked too well. I ordered garlic bread and a French fry appetizer, which I guessed came with cheese or something (I did ask the waitress, but she struggled to explain it, so I just ordered it). But no, they were just French fry "wedges" (very similarly to regular French fries, just a difference shape) with sour cream on the side, for 6 euro.
The garlic bread was white bread, slightly toasted, with melted cheese and garlic on it, but it tasted weird. The restaurant has an odd perception of American cuisine.
The waitress didn't check on our table even though the restaurant was not busy. I forced myself to drink my margarita even though it literally made me cringe (and I've had several very good margaritas in Berlin). I didn't eat most of my food and she obviously noticed but did not comment on this or ask if the food was ok, which would be the common sense thing to do (I have worked in the business for 5+ years and always check on my customers).
We ended up paying 32 euros for a bottle of water we didn't specifically order, a cheese burger, an order of fries and an order of garlic bread. And a milkshake. That was it. A meal which, for the quality, should have cost 20 euro or less, was a huge rip off.
I never write reviews but I was extremely disappointed and angry by my experience. I do not recommend any tourist visiting Berlin goes to this restaurant. I wish I had read other reviews prior to our visit. We could have had a much more enjoyable dinner for the price we paid and I have enjoyed many cheaper dinners at other restaurants during my time in Berlin.response / report this review -

We went for Sunday brunch and it was awesome. A huge variety of dishes in the buffet. The chicken, lotus, mushroom soup was particularly tasty. A wide range from simple, light and healthy to heavy, spicy and fried. We enjoyed the refinement of the flavors and the attention to detail - in everything from the food to the cutlery and decor. Unlike most brunch places nearby, there was plenty of space. We practically had the place to ourselves. The servers were very friendly. Our waiter said they have different dishes each Sunday. We'll definitely go back - for brunch and for dinner.
