He of the best places to drink coffee in Berlin. I found out about this place when I first moved here about three years ago and been coming back ever since. Consistent quality, great coffees over and over again with seasonal changing beans in offer.

Maybe the best coffee shop in a city filled with great coffee.
I get the Cortado, every time, and it never disappoints.
Well thought sourcing from top class coffee producers. The beans to go are top notch.
Small place, so don't expect to post up for 4 hours with your laptop, but if you love good coffee, you can't go wrong with the Barn.response / report this review -

Had a wonderful experience while eating here. The food was fresh and my cappuccino was up to par. Free wifi for an hour so I could plan mt next adventure. Had a great chill, alternative vibe with super friendly staff.

/Industrial space was mostly nice but looking closely a lot of it is just not painted walls and a bit dirty wood.
- Overpriced
- People walk in and out of the kitchen with outdoor clothes.
- Owners or staff(?) Talking loudly and squabbling with each other in the kitchen, around guests, and some FedEx delivery, that killed my calm mood so I left.
- Cold coffee.

I really don't understand why is everybody so fascinated about this place. It looks like a corner bakery somewhere in outskirts. cappuccino served in a small glass instead of a cup (what?) And a small bun cost €6! The cappuccino wasn't tasty, just ordinary and too small. They accept credit cards only starting from €10 (even in the communist Belarus you can pay with card even €0,20 even at small street kiosks and nobody loudly look at you as if you were a psycho).
The seating is extremely uncomfortable, the place is small. I guess all the references here are fake.

Perfect place for a nice breakfast. The coffee is as good as it gets and I loved the sandwiches with salmon and cream cheese..

Local cafe vibe. Really nice interior. Quite small but a couple of tables about and not too busy. Seating available outside. English speaking.

Great coffee, locally roasted, and a tasty bit of cheesecake. The cafe is pretty small, so probably not for the laptop warriors, but definitely a brilliant takeaway spot if you're in Mitte, I even got a tasty fresh orange juice to start my morning.
Perhaps I got on better with the staff as a Brit, being English speakers there was no need to feel guilty as a tourist if you haven't got round to your German practice.
But their German level was also passable for the task at hand, and it's the coffee that mattersresponse / report this review
