  Friendly local independent brewery pub. They do a range of regular beers and frequent specials. You can buy all beers to take away in reusable flip top bottles. Food is average Brauhaus fare but the beer is great.

  A German brewery that doesn't just stick to pilsner and kölsch. The food is heavy but decent. Update: I just returned to the restaurant, and Schwarzbier was their seasonal brew. This was perhaps the best Schwarzbier that I've ever had. I highly recommend it.
