Simple food, nice beer hall in the ski country. Great views of the mountains and castle

The house beer was great but the meal tasted commercial. The steak was too fatty and the schnitzel seamed rushed and a little dry on the inside. A choice of other potatoes instead of fries would be nice.

Food was very good. We went here to avoid the restaurants closer to the castles and it was a good experience. Quick service, great beef and spatzle. The beer was also great.

The food quality and choices are excellent. There's a mini golf section, outdoor seating with fantastic views, and an indoor playground in the basement. You can easily spend a rainy day here, or some great evenings in the sunset.

Great beer, great food, and just far enough away from the castles that it wasn't all tourists. They had a fantastic Oktoberfest as the seasonal (natch') and the Weiss beer Oh the Weiss beer. Standard dinner plates came with the salad bar, which did have lettuce, but mostly consisted of about 15 different kinds of kraut, pickles, and preserved vegetables. I was in heaven.
