  Once upon a time, about 14 years ago, a group of "tipsy" US Soldiers stumbled up the hill (There is a hill) from the train station, in an evening snowstorm, to this hotel. We had been having fun in Nuremberg. I say a snowstorm, because I think at least an inch of snow gathered on my head during the walk up the dark hill. We were polite, we bought beer and coffee. There were many locals enjoying a dinner at the hotel restaurant. The staff treated us like respected hotel guests, while we warmed up and waited for our cab ride..

  Great food! Everything prepared fresh and with high quality, seasonal ingredients. My favorite restaurant in the area. The different dining rooms each have a unique, charming atmosphere. The waitstaff are attentive. Great location for a romantic dinner too.
