Nice place with friendly people. One of the few places where a cyclist with a small tent is not put opposite hundreds of campers and caravans, but can find his/her own nice spot.
Great location opposite an isle where big ships don't pass by.
    Recommended.

A tranquil location for basic camping. A great little bar with an imbiss to the side. Relaxed and easy going. You need a 50cent piece for a hot shower. Take toilet paper.

Staff are quite rude, arrived at 4pm and was told to camp next to the children's play area. Would not recommend.

Simple easy camping for families and friends. Classic German 'layout' on flat surface by river. Popular beer garden at weekends when sunny. Was there camping with my son and we found all that we needed. This isn't 'wild' camping but great for stopping off on a cycle tour along the Rhein. Good views of the hills on the other side of the river. Can be a little noisy when trains go by.

Ideal stopover for exploring this part of the Velo15 which pass's the entrance. Reception in the corner of the bar in the beer garden, where food is available. Facilities in portakabins, cleaned twice a day when we were there, showers 50cents. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Once again we were amazed how responsible priced German campsites are compared to UK sites, even as Club Site members they are on average working out cheaper. So with the Euro/£ exchange rate its proving a cost effective trip. I will not mention the cost of fuel compared to the UK!
