This is my favorite restaurant in Regensburg, but you will definitely need a reservation to get a table - no matter the day of the week. I recommend calling a few days in advance, or sending them an e-mail, in order to secure a table. The food is DELICIOUS. No bad options on the menu and the wine selection is extensive. The staff is extremely friendly and service is timely. Would recommend for groups, families, or date night.
My favourite restaurant in Regensburg. Really nice decor, cosy, everybody nice and friendly. You can feel like you are at home. You can stay here hours, enjoy the food, drinks and the atmosphere, nobody rushing you to leave. I almost tried everything on the menu For breakfast i recommend the deluxe, marseille and italian breakfast or pancakes. Really delicious and tasty. In the evening or night this is the perfect place to drink or meet with people. I recommend to check out the winecard. You must try: pate de campagne, deux-fois-mousse, tartare d'Orphée, steak, entrecote mit sauce Béarnaise, and fromage de Brebis Corse And dont forget to make reservation or you can just go and wait for a table, its worth it ;)
OK restaurant but with good service. One meal was reasonable, one was a little dull. The waiter's wine recommendation was good.
compliments i really enjoyed and nice cocktails friendly people
To the German gentleman on the "regional express" RE 84112 train from Munich, thank you so much for this suggestion and telling us to get off at Regensburg. Such a fantastic restaurant!
Classic. Great spot for drinks and long conversations - especially late night. Really old school. Must see.
Place really chatacteristic and great atmosphere 😉😉
Seems to be very popular based on the number of people here. But I would say it is mediocre at best.
Outdoor cafe great for people watching! Food is tasty and a great alternative to Bavarian. One evening we did the French "grand slam" of Coquille St Jaques, onion soup, coq au vin and a crepe. Only the crepe let us down but only because we had awesome palacsintas in Budapest earlier.
French place with good food but not that much French wines, I thought.. sometimes French live music :)
