Oh my, Rausch is worth heading to if you're nearby! The range of chocolate is superb. The chocolate statues look good enough to eat!

It is an amazing place if you are looking for high quality chocolate. When you come in, there are several chocolate structures as well as a chocolate volcano. There is a wide range of chococlate truffles. I was curious and I tasted a balsamic vinegar chocolate truffle that was surprisingly good. Very nice staff. Special thanks to Fadoua, the seller that took care of me.

We were directed to this place by our guide and it was fun to see. Clearly they want you to buy something but honestly I did not feel any pressure to do so. In fact, the guide only gave us a short time to take a quick look around. Some great chocolate sculptures. They also have chocolate samples (like small pellets) that gave you a good idea of the different kinds available. Free to go in and see it and a good place to get a souvenir for someone back home.

    Don't get the hype.
Bought 5 small pieces, it cost me 5 Euros!
One piece was really good (see pic), the others were not worth it.

I came across this place when researching top places to eat in the city. It came up on every list as #1. And it deserved that title. Fassbender & Rausch is a chocolate manufacturer, but not just any chocolate manufacturer - the store below is complete with incredible chocolate sculptures and truffles in every flavor you could imagine. But you'd be missing the best part if you didn't see the elevator. Upstairs, there's a beautiful and elegant cafe, in which I had the most incredible 70% Guatemalan dark hot chocolate. I also bought myself a Dark Chocolate with Strawberry Daiquiri Truffle for later.

Really cool chocolate store next to the Berlin square. This store has crazy and amazing scale models of ships, airplanes, and buildings made out of chocolate! Several are larger than a full grown man. Plus the chocolate is delicious and there is a 2nd floor restaurant that serves unique chocolate inspired foods. Chocoholic's heaven!

I visited the last time I went to Berlin, the shop downstairs provides a wide selection of great chocolate. I recommend the Venezuela and the Papua New Guinea. We then went upstairs and have milk chocolate drinks and the mousse tarts and symphonies. Delicious, and the service was great. If ever in Berlin I recommend to anyone to go there, even if it's for little gifts to bring back home.

An elegant chocolate producer that doesn't exclude the everyday folks from coming in, perusing their selection and purchasing candy.

The place is filled with Berlin buildings and other items made completely out of chocolate. Quite the edible and artistic accomplishment.

The chocolate candies purchased from behind the glass case were all unique and tasty. They had several dozen options to choose from so choosing was difficult.

The staff was friendly, too. As soon as I recover from my binge chocolate eating I'll be back for more.
