Horrible and absolutely regressive place. I am an Indian, travelling with friends in Berlin. After a tiring and very cold day we entered the place for an early dinner. The place was full so we asked one of the waiters to help us with a table once its free. He just refused to let us wait saying he isn't sure when the next table will get free. Meanwhile a Caucasian family entered and they were directed to the waiting area! We were appalled! Seriously!!?? Racial discrimination at THIS day and age!?? Also, please note, the waiting staff was Asian himself. So if you are an Asian or someone who doesnt support such discrimination avoid this place by all means.
P.S. - I wish I could have rated them negative.
Very very bad experience. For the first time in our life we were almost asked to leave the restaurant under the pretext of non availability while they had place in the restaurant. This was probably racism because while they told us waiting for a table was of no use because they didn’t know how long is it gonna take for the tables to get free, they very politely asked an english family who walked in right after us to wait.
Right after we left the restaurant & were waiting for the cab, we saw 3 tables getting empty.
Horrible to see such treatment. They not just spoilt out mood but they also left us hungry in the cold forced to look for restaurants near by.
Too bad for people like us who are traveling from India & struggling in the cold looking for some warm home like food.
After a poor beginning it became very good. The spring roll as starter wasn’t hot enough. The signature dish is the Beijing duck. It was delicious and is a good reason to come back. Perfect was the duck soup at the end.
Let me explain why I give your restaurant only one star. First of all, I never heard that before as a Chinese restaurant has to be make a reserve table to eat, if you want to act like a professional restaurant, but your basic service is not like professional. Second, your waiter saw their friend walk in and was full reserved in that time, they can make a table to their friend. Excuse me? Third, Peking duck is chief recommend cuisine, but why you showed me a fresh one and gave me half cold one. Why? Because the duck skin was not crisp. Don't tell me you change to the non fresh one.
I hope "MasterCheif" can tell you how to do your business and don't fool your customers.
One star for your nice location.
Been here twice. The food the second time was far better than the first. Still not my favorite Chinese food but the location is convenient.
Super! In this restaurant we can eat real Chinese food. Kindly staffs. Delicious cuisine. Nice mood also. I recommend this place!
good food, nice service , friendly helpful staff
On my previous visit we enjoyed the food and good service, so my wife and I wanted to try the good experience again. However, the waitress said everything is reserved even though we could see many empty tables without the reservation sign. We were "only" two and they didn't wanted to sacrifice a table for four on us. Shame! And the waitresses couldn't care less!
This was our go to place for duck. However, the last time the waiters were so rude that we actually left; they refused to bring our 6 year old a tea cup, and insisted we should order a separate pot of tea for her. They lost customers over a tea cup. Shame!
I had a vegetarian dish, fried aubergine with ginger and garlic, served with rice. This is by far the best Chinese dish i have ever had. Also kind personell and a quite atmosphere which made this visit very pleasant. Enjoy!
