  The National Library of Latvia is just a 15 min walk from Park Inn by Radisson Riga Valdemara. Also known as the 'Castle of Light', it's just another reason to visit Riga!   Terrible service booked through Expedia meaning to book at Alexanderplatz realised immediately that I had made an error and called within 10 minutes of booking, despite a genuine mistake which Expedia understood and asked the hotel to refund they will only cancel the booking if I pay 90%. They have over 2 months to resell the room but insist on this ludicrous charge. No doubt they would resell the room and make 190%. If you want to be held to ransom and stay at a hotel with no empathy then stay here. I was even willing to let them keep the fee and pay a transfer fee to stay at the correct hotel in the same chain but they have chosen instead to refuse. Will never stay at a hotel in their chain again.

  Great location, very clean, friendly staff.. only downfall was doors were broken on ground 8 so had to get a member of staff to open door when we needed to, this was more annoying than anything else.. thought they might have moved us to a different room �

  Name and shame: When a hotel advertises free wifi, but then you discover the wifi is so slow that it takes 10 minutes for a page to upload, it is a little like lying. When you call and complain and they immediately offer you decent wifi for a hefty price, you realise that the hotel managers are crooks. Service that isn't service!

  Booked through my member account, did not get the full discount I am entitled to. I have called them and they clearly told they are not willing to fix this. It was an 8 euro diffiference. ridiculous

  Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel. Supergute Anbindung zur U- u. S -Bahn.
  
  Ca. 10 min. zu Fuß zum Kurfürstendamm (kann ich nur empfehlen).
  
  Super freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Wir waren zwei Nächte im Haus und alles war bestens. Danke an alle!
  
  Ein besonderer Dank geht an Frau Wilfert und Herrn Scholz, die uns überaus kompetent und sehr zuvorkommend betreut haben. Vielen Dank für die neuen Eindrücke, die wir gewinnen durften, inkl. "persönlicher Note"!

  Veraltete Zimmereinrichtung, Schmutz an Tapete und den Fliesenzwischenräumen im Bad. Und wie man, wenn man in der Badewanne sitzt an das Duschgel rankommen soll, muß mir auch mal wer erklären.

  Sehr nettes Personal. Immer hilfsbeteit. Das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und lecker. Die Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Im allgemeinen ein sehr angenehmer Aufentalt. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert.

  Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind gut, schönes Bad. Das Essen war fantastisch. Ein großes Lob an die Küche und auch der Service war Spitze. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.
  
  Ich war dort vom 24. 03. bis 25. 03 2017 zu einem Seminar vom Weissen Ring.
