A great institution to gain and practice your knowledge in an international environment.

Not exceptional, but a decent university but some subjects and faculties are in a horrendous state. Quality of teaching and research varies from pathetic to excellent, depending on professors, modules etc.
Library is quite well equipped, mensa is good.
They seem to be accepting almost every international student who applies..there are too many students (especially foreign) being accepted. This can lead to overcrowding as some lectures are filled beyond capacity. it is difficult to pinpoint why some lecture halls are filled beyond capacity (could be repeat students, poor organisation or planning on part of university) but this is one of the key reasons. Rumors are the uni recieves funding from the government for every international they take in. Apart from that, a decent university where the quality of your experience can vary due to many factors but it is all upto the student. I study business/economics (IBE) which is actually very boring. Cannot comment on how good the studies are, but it was pretty easy if you can manage your time and motivation.
but if I could do it all over again would not have come here, nothing to do with the university but just how much I miss life back home.response / report this review -
