Came here for a simple coffee and regretted leaving without trying the food. Everything hat was served to the tables surrounding us looked delicious. The coffee and tea were good and the prices aren’t as ridiculous as you’d expect from a restaurant in a great location-right next to the Christmas market!
The worst service I have ever received at a restaurant in my entire life. The blonde girl and blond man working on October 11th are such utter embarrassments to this establishment that management should severely reconsider who it's employing.
The food was great. I had the daily selection which was lamb with cucumber potato salad and chantrelles. It was cooked very well and the quality of ingredients was lovely. But the draw back was that the service was incredibly slow. It took over 15 minutes to receive our drinks and then longer for our food. The person who owns Ontario also has Edleweiss and Ayers Rock which are both locates down the street. Not sure if the service is any faster at the other locations. Just make sure you come here when you have a lot of time on your hands.
Loved the selection, quality and perfect preparation of the meet. Liked the location right next to Frauenkirche and the friendly service. Disliked the sides - they were a bit bland and the somewhat sterile interior. Overall, I recommend the Ontario Steakhouse to beef lovers.
We ordered a 300g tenderloin, medium rare. It was a thick slice and we are very impressed with the quality of the cooking. It was tender inside and not overcooked outside - perfectly cooked. The seasoning was perfect as well, not too salty or bland. We also ordered a brownie with nuts, as recommended by the waitress, and although it was a small slice, the chocolate tasted rich. We had a Bailey's macchiato too, and it was good. To top it all off, having lunch right by the Frauenkirche was amazing. Service was good as well. We normally don't do reviews but this was so good we had to!
The steaks are the best in Dresden here though a little more expensive than normal..
Perfect food, not at all expensive
We ate here over the holidays, so the service was understandably slow. Also, as a Canadian, a "Canadian" restaurant intrigued me. I have to say, the only thing missing was poutine. They had moose, elk, salmon, maple syrup, nanaimo bars, and everything else.
Nice meal in a good location
Delicious!
Really good meat
The price is high but definitly worth it!
