The food was nothing out of the ordinary and nothing above expected. However, the place offered a warm atmosphere, the staff was sweet and friendly.

We had the specials menu, I think that was kind of a mistake. The starters and the dessert was disappointing, whereas the main course were to our liking.

    + Venue and friendly staff
    - Ordinary Indian food (slightly below expectations)

The place was nice, but the food was averagely okay. And one of the waitress was busy with her own guests

Enjoyed a nice dinner here with garlic naan bread, chicken curry, lamb curry, rice and wine. The seating arrangements were a bit uncomfortable they sat everyone together in too close of tables and didn’t utilize the rest of the restaurant. It was uncomfortable to hold a conversation with others sitting so close by.

The food was good but, to me, it wasn’t spicey at all. I know most Germans can’t handle spices so they make the food bland, so I asked for additional spiceiness from the kitchen. They brought out some for me which made me very happy and left my mouth on fire!

The ambience is good, hosts are smiling and courteous. Good portion sizes and very tasty food. Reasonably priced as well.

Excellent food, great & friendly & fast service. We just loved this place, me and my son. Food is close to real Indian spiciness and if you want really, really spicy they cook it for you. One of the best indian meals (chicken madras) outside India I have ever had if not the best.

I am a big fan of Indian food and have tried several Indian restaurants worldwide. Yet nothing compares to this place. The food is absolutely brilliant, the best I've ever had. The staff is incredibly welcoming and speak English perfectly. I can't wait to visit this place next time I'm in Berlin. I am even contemplating visiting Berlin solely to eat here again. Oh yes, it is that amazing!

Delicious food, delightful staff and very nice surroundings. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed lots of nice food. They had a great vegetarian selection and I heard the meat options we also fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

What a delightful, gem of a restaurant. I was exploring Berlin near KaDeWe and took a suggest from the "Good Eats" near you. Upon arrival they were extremely welcoming. A bonus for a solo dinner. The owner and his staff were very attentive. I had the Chicken Jalfrezi and it was delicious. I will definitely be back and I will recommended it to friends and colleagues.

The food was good here, but the service was terrible. We were seated very quickly but ignored for the rest of our meal. It was a struggle to get our orders taken and I felt like I had to beg for the check at the end of the meal. Then, after finally paying, we were given a business card and asked to review the restaurant online. Even with good food, it's hard to recommend a restaurant where I had such a poor experience. If you do choose to eat here, the lentil soup and Indian tea are delicious.

This was our first time at this restaurant. Family owned for
many years. The food was delicious and priced fairly. Most important, the family who owns the restaurant were extremely gracious and personable. They took note of an allergy I have towards a particular spice and spent time speaking to us at our table. Looking forward to our next meal at Maharadscha!
