  German restaurant only review (not hotel) - 2 weeks before Xmas, Sat night, we did a 15 minute wait for an inside table. At first we were concerned we were being ignored, as it took awhile to order a beer. Once we ordered it was swift service and they were very nice, they hadn't forgotten us! A bit after being taken to our table we thoroughly enjoyed some hearty and very nice German food (schweinehaxen and steak) and beer. Unfortunately they'd run out of apple strudel for dessert which wasn't a problem for us and it was almost 10pm. Overall would recommend.

  This is an absolute blessing of a restaurant. The waiters are extremely friendly, even though they might not look like that. Reservations are highly recommended since many travellers and even people from cologne find their way here. One of the other many satisfactions is the food and especially the pizza. I haven't had a pizza that great since I visited Italy. In addition to that, the view is absolutely stunning, views on the Rhein. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for a quick and delicious bite or a accomodation in the heart of cologne.

  The rooms are small but very clean. The food is fabulous and the service staff remembers if you ate your entire meal last tim. I would recommend this to everyone

  Authentic German pub in a great part of the Cologne Old Town. Recommended for authentic German beer in an authentic German setting.

  I had lunch here. The food was basic, but good. The staff wasn't that friendly, so i hope they just had a bad day. Inside it is really crowded with paintings, mirrors and artifacts. Maybe for some a bit to much, but it has it charm. And the place is really clean!

  Went here for breakfast around 8:00 in mid august. No waiting at all as it is buffé but still no people during this week day. 12€ with good coffee.
