Well off the bat, this place looked promising good reviews and when I checked to see what was on and saw it was a photography exhibition thought why not il go. I was wrong I wasted 16 euro on entrance fee for basically one photo im not counting the "blue" under water shot as a photo,looks like they have painted the wall and forgot to put art back up?
Secondly, the audio room where you sit in the dark and listen to an "atmospheric" recording. yeah thats just dogs barking.
If I felt like it was possible to get my money back I would of.response / report this review -

Feel like I wasted my time and money here. Said there was photographer exhibiting but there was literally nothing but a blue Square on the wall and the other exhibitor just had random objects on the floor in a room. Shocking 'contemporary art'. Spent about 5 minutes here because there was nothing to see. Also one of the exhibits was sitting in a room listening to dogs howl. I could do that at home when my dog barks at me.

One of my fav contemporary art museum in Berlin, there is always something interesting to see. There is also a bar in the yard, good selection of tee and cakes!

Nice gallery with awesome selections. Based in a neighborhood full of qui skirt restaurants and shops. Highly recommend to take your time and enjoy a good afternoon in the garden. Work is super nicely done. Be careful of how to enter the space as there at e2 entrances.

How much you like this place depends entirely on what they're showing. I'm not a huge fan of political activist art or video art which seem to be specialities. I also don't like art that needs to be explained so was a bit shocked when I -- a long-time art aficionado -- had absolutely no clue about at least half of the pieces. (An uninspiring sculpture reminiscent of Brancusi was maybe about the DNA of HIV or held ashes of Buddha or something? And that square on the floor was the same size as Nelson Mandela's cell? Hold my coat because I'm about to pass out.)
Otherwise, with four floors this is a nice-sized place, though the architecture isn't interesting enough to warrant a visit.response / report this review -

Only after paying the 8 euro's did they tell me that only 1 floor was open. Nice space though. Although I found it a bit weird how they waited for me to walk into the remaining display area before talking about the art work in English.

This was so disappointing. The space available is vast and contemporary, but the installations were absolutely abysmal and extremely sparse. It was laughable. Seriously over priced as well. I would sincerely reconsider coming here unless there is something specific you wish to see.
