Too much waiting time before the starters, after the starters and all across the diner. Food was ok

Good french-inspired restaurant. in the spirit of a bistro-brasserie, but with more space and privacy than in a French real place. Food is good though recipes are adaption of French ones. Atmosphere is warm and service friendly.

I went there for his "famous" brunch. The place is very nice, maybe too full of items and people to enjoy a brunch on Sunday morning. Wide choice of varied snacks in the buffet, from croissants to gnocchi with cheeses but mediocre quality, given the rather high price (but some drinks are icluse). Overrated.

I was at the brunch buffet. They had a nice selection and everything I tried was very tasty, but sadly I wasn't able to try everything I would have liked, as staff was slow to refill empty platters and some weren't refilled at all (e.g. they ran out of smoked salmon before noon, while the brunch was scheduled until 2.30pm). Side note: One of the hot dishes was lamb, which I liked a lot, but if you're serving only one dish with meat, choosing something that appeals to a wider range of people might be a good idea.

I, for once, think that the best way to appreciate the Gendarmenmarkt at its splendor is by taking a stroll with someone you care for, dog or person, in a cold night, when there is no one around. It's just heavenly. It does feel like France a bit, because of the street lamps that scarcely dim the square but confer a light hue of yellow to the marble building.

We went for breakfast with our family and had a very enjoyable experience. The food was good, the staff was helpful and we would definitely go back again. Curious to try their dinner menu for sure.

Follow recommendation of Lonely Planet. Wonderful food and good service.
Perfect taste Vienna Snitzel, even better than the very good ones in Vienna, and excellent caramelised pudding.
Oyster is fresh, with a glass of white wine. Perfect

Went here for lunch. Lovely food. Good service. Reasonable price. Nice local feel to the place with families and kids eating there. Enough on the menu to keep our vegetarian happy. They spoke excellent English too (which was a bonus for us).
